Originally Ducati’s brand name for a series of single cylinder ‘scrambler’ motorcycles made for the American market from 1962 until 1974, the Scrambler’s creation is attributed to the American Berliner Motor Corporation. The model was later revived in 2015 as Ducati's modern-classic styled motorcycle, blending styling cues from various 1960s and ’70s Ducati singles, together with modern computer-aided design and manufacturing, electronic fuel injection, also vastly better performance, ride, handling and braking than their forebears offered. 

The Scrambler Classic features an air-cooled, desmodromic 803cc V-twin developing a claimed 73 bhp for strong performance, wire-spoke wheels with black rims, a black inverted fork, frame, and swingarm, single front and rear disc brakes with ABS, and broad, two-passenger seats. 

Registered in June 2017 this exceptionally nice two-owner example has been significantly improved by our current vendor. Acquired in June 2021 with just 778 miles recorded, the Scrambler was upgraded to a Flat Tracker style using all genuine Ducati parts (at a cost of over £3,000 in parts/painting alone), the only exceptions being an HP Course Exhaust Silencer, and number plate Tail Tidy. The following original Ducati factory parts were fitted: CNC aluminium sprocket cover, alloy chain guard, scrambler café racer brown seat, factory heated grips, seat cover, side body panels, under seat cover panels and brackets, headlamp cowl and fitting kit, adjustable brake and clutch lever kit, and a rear master cylinder relocation bracket. Other additions include LED turn indicators, belly pan protective plate, full throttle tapered handlebars and handlebar yoke sets, factory Ducati battery conditioner, Ducati Scrambler bike cover and key ring

All factory Scrambler Classic parts have been removed but are included in the sale, such as the dual seat and silencer. New tyres have recently been supplied and fitted by Ducati Ferndown in Dorset. With an odometer reading at time of writing of 1,643 miles, this super Scrambler is offered complete with full Ducati main dealer service history, Datatag, valid MoT certificate to July 2025, factory toolkit, handbooks and all keys. All-in-all a fantastically well presented and uprated example of a modern classic, offered for sale at a fraction of its original purchase and upgrade cost.
