NOTE: A robust and finely cast bronze tripod incense burner from the Ming Dynasty, standing on three cabriole legs adorned with mythical beast masks at the junction with the body. The broad, rounded form is complemented by a band of archaic decoration encircling the neck, evoking ancient Chinese bronzes. Two elegantly curved handles rise from the body, extending upward and attached to the neck for structural support. The surface exhibits a rich patina, indicative of age and use. A powerful and well-proportioned example of Ming Dynasty metalwork, demonstrating both decorative refinement and functional solidity.
