A 19TH CENTURY BLOODSTONE INTAGLIO SEAL RING, CIRCA 1830 carved to depict an owl, collet set between engraved shoulders to a plain band
Unmarked, tests as higher than 18ct gold.
Head measures 8.2mm x 7mm. Ring size M 1/2.
Total weight 1.9gms

More Information

The bloodstone has a number of scratches and abrasions on the surface but no major chips.
Very small mark to the inside of the band - probably a dog's head.
Inside of band also shows where it has been tested for gold and there is a small section that has two lines - possible a replaced area of gold.
