1968 Triumph Bonneville T120
Registration Number: NED 582 G
Frame Number: T120 NCO2259
-Direct from a Private Collection
Named after US racer Johnny Allen’s 193 mph Record Breaking Speed aboard his Triumph-powered Devil's Arrow at Bonneville Salt Flats, the Triumph Bonneville was introduced in 1959 with an engine designed by Edward Turner.
With a claimed top speed of 115mph, further frame and suspension developments led to huge commercial success in both home and overseas markets, with over 28000 sold in the USA alone in 1967. Superseded by the 750cc model, the ‘650 Bonnie ‘ remains an icon of British Motorcycling.
The machine offered today is a matching numbers example finished in Silver over Burgundy and presented in stunning condition. Restored in 2005/6 and meticulously cared for since, the Triumph comes with V5, 2 keys and a folder containing numerous invoices for parts used during restoration.
Having been stored in a private collection the bike will require some light recommissioning prior to use. A superb addition to any collection or just for pure enjoyment on the road.
