AN AMERICAN HANDMADE QUILT comprising 36 squares with broad yellow borders and stylised green triangular designs on an off-white ground. Probably early 20th century.

There are approximately 12 spotted stain marks on areas of the yellow banding which apprear to have been caused by the quilt being folded with a foreign object perhaps pinnned to it. In a couple of the spots it has degraded the fabric to small holes. Its diffcult to tell if this is rust or biological. There are some pulls on stitched seams in a few places.
