A SILVER TREFID SPOON, LONDON 1684. A good, large trefid spoon made in London in 1684 by Lawrence Coles. The finial is engraved with initials HB over EB.

PROVENANCE: The Dr. Christopher Morris Collection, Shropshire
The spoon is in good condition. There are some slight hammer marks visible on the back (though hard to photograph) suggesting that a dent has previously been taken out. Aside form that, the engraving and marks are clear and the tip of the bowl has good thickness.
