A LATE 19TH CENTURY GERMAN SILVER GILT MODEL OF A HARE WITH DETACHABLE HEAD. A well modelled hare with what appear to be garnet eyes. The head pulls off the body, perhaps for use as a decanter. Poss. made by J.D. Schleissner & Sohne of Hanau.
