- Recent £35,000 expenditure and mechanical overhaul with 911 specialist

A superbly presented and fastidiously maintained example of the landmark 996-generation Turbo — a model widely regarded as one of the finest supercars of its era. Launched in 2000, the 996 Turbo represented a significant technological leap for Porsche. It was the first 911 Turbo to feature water cooling, permanent all-wheel drive, and electronic driver aids including Porsche Stability Management (PSM), delivering an unrivalled blend of performance and usability. Central to its acclaim is the formidable 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged 'Mezger' flat-six - derived from Porsche’s Le Mans-winning GT1 race car -producing 414bhp and propelling the car from 0–60mph in just 4.2 seconds. With its robust construction, superb chassis balance, and everyday drivability, the 996 Turbo quickly earned a reputation as one of the most complete high-performance road cars of its generation.

This UK-supplied, factory right-hand drive car is finished in exceptional condition throughout, having covered just circa 56,000 miles from new. Retained by its current enthusiast owner for nearly five years, the car was acquired directly from Porsche Centre Bolton and has since benefited from extensive and documented mechanical investment totaling over £35,000 largeley carried out by PorscheMode (Bristol) and marque specialists.

In 2021, a comprehensive mechanical refresh was undertaken, including suspension, cooling system, braking components, clutch, and associated drivetrain hardware. The work was performed with a no-expense-spared ethos and is supported by detailed invoices and service documentation. This is likely one of the most thoroughly sorted examples currently available.

Presented in stunning cosmetic condition, the paintwork remains crisp and glossy, the alloy wheels are excellent, and the cabin retains full originality, with very light wear consistent with its low mileage. Note: the rear spoiler / electrically activated rear wing is currently inoperative and will require attention (a common and resolvable issue within the 996 Turbo community).

Mechanically, the car drives with the urgency and assurance expected of a Turbocharged 911, with its robust 3.6-litre Mezger engine -delivering tremendous performance in all conditions.

As EVO Magazine once declared:
“The 996 Turbo remains one of the greatest everyday supercars — faster than nearly everything in its class, and more forgiving too. With the Mezger engine, it's a machine of real depth and ability.”

Supplied with strong service history, this example will appeal to collectors and drivers alike seeking a well-sorted, investment-grade 996 Turbo with the mechanical integrity and provenance to match.
