1938 Levis A2 350cc
Registration Number: CXE 289
Frame Number: 28807
The first Levis motorcycles were made by Butterfield Bros. in 1911, and over time the brand became known as one of Britain’s leading manufacturers of two-stroke bikes. In addition to two stroke machines, Levis also produced a range of four stroke models, boasting a rear magneto and vertical cylinders. During the 1930s, options for tuning parts were offered, such as an improved exhaust system and uprated frame.
Formerly owned by a VMCC member from 2005 to 2021, this Levis was part of a collection of classic motorcycles. In his ownership the bike was subject to light restoration and mechanical overhaul for reliability, and after completion used for various club runs.
Clearly well looked after, rare, and original, this interesting machine is offered complete with history file and UK V5C.
