AN EARLY AMERICAN PUNCH STRAINER, WILLIAM BREED, BOSTON C.1745. With a suspension loop to the end of one of the elongated handles. Marked WB and 'W Breed' on each handle. The design is typical of American colonial era strainers.

The strainer appears to have an old solder repair to one of the handles - see photo - otherwise it is in good condition with no further damage nor repairs
