AN OVAL GILT, CAST AND ENGINE TURNED SNUFF BOX, LONDON 1826. In very fine condition, the lid has a border of cast laurel leaves and the base has a flush hinge. The box retains all its gilding both inside and out. Made by Alexander J Strachan.

The box is in very good condition. The gilding is all in tact and the hinged lids are tight fitting. The marks are clear. Please see photos.
