NOTE: Jochen Rindt was arguably the greatest Formula 1 talent of his generation.
Born in 1942 he came up through the racing ranks, joining Formula 1 in 1964, winning his first Formula 1 race in 1969. He and his wife, the model Nina Rindt, were well known figures both on and off the circuit. He wore his Heuer 2446 on the track. Rindt was tragically killed, aged only 28, racing for Lotus at Monza in 1970. He is still the only Formula 1 driver to have won the World Championship posthumously.
Working. Wear to edge of bezel. Good condition for age. Crown not signed. Does not include red stand.
