A CIRCULAR ENGRAVED & GILT CALENDAR BOX, C.1655. The lid is engraved with the full armourial of Sir Thomas Mainwaring Bart. of Peover Cheshire. The base is engraved with a perpetual Julian calendar also incorporating the date, 1655.

The box is in good condition with no sign of damage nor repair. The gilding is slightly rubbed on the lid and base but in tact within. Please see additional photos.
