A SILVER MOUNTED COCONUT JUG, LONDON 1796. A finely made cream jug with a gilt interior. The body made from a coconut shell carved and inscribed with flowers, a heart and a central shield engraved MK. Marked on the underside of the foot, London 1796, made by Thomas Phipps and Edward Robinson.

The overall condition of the jug is excellent. The gilding is in tact and the is no damage, repair nor cracks to the coconut. There is a full set of hallmarks inside the jug.
