SOUTHERN INDIAN, CIRCA 18TH CENTURY,
with an attendant musician, Shiva poised in a Lasya dance pose, Ganesha with hands clasped in an animated posture on a pedestal at Shiva’s feet, the musician in animated pose holding an instrument aloft, the whole carved in deep relief.
