the well carved beast is shown grasping a sprig of lingzhi in its mouth and has thick eyebrows and curved ruyi-form horns and nose, haunches decorated with flame motifs, cloven hooves, and with finely incised hair on the mane and bushy tail, on a fitted hardwood stand
