AN ANGLO-INDIAN HALF FLUTED KULFI JAR, CALCUTTA C.1820. A container for kulfi, an ice cream like dessert. On four paw feet with turned wooded handles attached to cast eagle mounts. The square base and rims with greek key bands of decoration. The fluted lid with an entwined dolphin finial. The internal liner has a detachable rim with bayonet fitting.
